Well, it has been a while since I last updated this blog, but it has also been a while since Lost was last on the air. Over 8 months to be exact. In that time I gave a lot of thought to my theory about Lost and it's now blatantly clear influences from the movie and books set in the Lost Horizon universe. I knew that in this, the sixth and final season of Lost, the greatest show ever produced on television, the producers, Damon and Carlton would solidify the elements of my theory in the way they wrap up the series.
In the premiere episode of Season 6, entitled LA X, we find our friends the survivors of flight 815, embarking on a journey to a hidden mythical temple only mentioned, but never seen before on the show.
Similarly, in the novel and film entitled, Lost Horizon, the survivors of a plane crash journey to a hidden mythical temple known as Shangri-la.
Furthermore, in the Temple on Lost their is a stoic Asian man named, Dogen, who appears to be in charge.
In the Temple of Shangri-la in Lost Horizon there is a similar character named Chang.
Once again, it is hard to deny the similarities in the two storylines.
